What a finale! 77 Blocks delivered an epic performance at the PEM Gaming Festival 2025, claiming the Rocket League crown once again after a 4-3 victory over NXT in a match full of twists and turns.
Defending champions and heavy favorites going into the match, 77 Blocks found themselves trailing 1-3 in the final. But the team refused to give up, and turned the series around with three consecutive wins, completing a breathtaking reverse sweep in front of a crowd going absolutely wild.
The level of play was through the roof, with both teams fielding players who have competed in multiple RLCS editions, including standout names like Rizex, who’s already made deep runs on the international stage.
A DREAM RUN FOR NXT
Despite the loss, NXT can be proud of their journey. For their first participation in the POP Esports Masters, they made it all the way to the final and pushed the defending champions to their very limits.
The Rocket League podium is completed by Sentient Esports, a team that’s now made it to the top 3 for three seasons in a row at the POP Esports Masters, proving once again their consistency at the highest level in Luxembourg.

NEW NAME, SAME DOMINANCE
The trio of Rizex, Twnzr and Badnezz were already crowned champions in 2024, but under the Snooze Esports banner. This season, they returned as 77 Blocks, but the lineup remained unchanged, and so did their winning ways.
Last season, it was Rizex who claimed the MVP title. This year, the honor goes to Badnezz, who stepped up and delivered when it mattered most.
A SPECTATULAR CLOSE TO PEM SEASON 6
The Rocket League grand final was a perfect ending to Season 6 of the POP Esports Masters, a season filled with high-level play, passionate fans, and unforgettable moments.
We can’t wait to see these teams back in action at the next competition in Luxembourg. See you soon for more esports!
